Victor Manggunio is a movie fanatic.
His directing style is distinctly cinematic with a strong focus on realistic acting and delivery. His passion for telling deep human stories whether it be through poignant dialogue or powerful visuals, is present in all his work.

His favorite genres to direct are drama, humour (dry or dark) and emotive work such as dance or music.
In 2012, Victor opened up Noodle Films. It started in Hong Kong to produce work for both local and regional markets, mainly focusing on above-the-line and digital mediums.
After taking a short detour in China for 2 years, Victor relocated to Singapore in 2018 to better focus on South East Asia markets with a particular focus for regional work and to expand his vision and talents to his first love: Cinema and Entertainment.
Prior to opening Noodle Films, Victor was the former Chief Creative Officer for Leo Burnett China and ECD for BBDO and Leo Burnett Hong Kong. His unique storytelling vision comes from 26 years of developing work for multiple markets and languages.
A mix of Indonesian, Chinese, Filipino and Japanese, Victor grew up in Vancouver, Canada. With the unique adaptability of a third culture kid, he instinctively understands different cultural nuances and that contributes to his astute point of view.
He is an avid techie/nerd and enjoys 3D printing movie props and runs a cinema lover’s Facebook community called Manic About Movies which he contributes on a regular basis.
A closet mad scientist, he dreams of building a functioning Flux Capacitor one day.
His exact words were: "If that day comes, ya'll are f*cked."
